Mental Health at Work
Mental health is a topic that organizations cannot afford to ignore. Mental Health America reports that 18% of adults have a mental health condition. This means that one out of every five employees that are in your organization are suffering from a mental illness. Mental illness is a tricky concept for organizations and for those suffering. Disclosure is avoided because of fear of stigma and negative impacts on job expectations and advancement. This training explores what mental health is, what is may or may not look like in the workplace, suggestions on how to support your co-workers, and a review of the laws that protect this group.
$350 per session, up to 30 participants
This training will apply to any level. Human Resource personnel and managers are recommended with a general employee follow-up.
